What kind of photo should I use?
Use a clear, well-lit photo that shows the area you want to repaint. Studio accepts JPEG, PNG, and WebP files up to 10 MB. Convert HEIC photos to one of those formats before uploading. If Studio rejects a photo, follow the explanation shown and retake or replace it before continuing.
How do I find and save colors for my project?
Browse brands and collections in the Color Library, search by a color name or code, or describe the look you want. Color Match lets you upload a photo and describe the colors to match. You can also browse Galleries for ideas. Sign in and use the heart beside each color to save it to My Colors, then choose the individual colors you want for your project.
How do I create my first repaint?
Sign in to Paint Studio and upload a photo. Follow the prompts to name your project and repaint. Once your photo is accepted, assign a color to each surface you want to change and choose its finish. Review your assignments, then select Generate Repaint. Generating a preview uses one paid Repaint. When the result is ready, compare it with your original photo and download it if you want to keep a copy.
What is a Repaint, and when is one used?
One Repaint is used when a repaint result is generated and made available in your Paint Pics account. No Repaint is used if Paint Pics does not return a result. If Paint Pics rejects an attempt and automatically retries it, the retry does not use another Repaint.
How accurate are the colors shown in Paint Pics?
On-screen and generated colors are approximations. Screens, lighting, photos, materials, and surrounding finishes can all change how a color looks. Confirm your choice with a physical paint or stain sample.
What should I do if a repaint colors the wrong surface?
Review the surfaces assigned in Studio and make sure the intended surface is selected. For Accent Wall, place each selection marker clearly inside the wall you want changed. Repaints can occasionally affect nearby areas when boundaries are difficult to distinguish, so a clear photo showing the full surface and its edges will give another attempt the best chance of success.
Are my uploads and projects private?
Your uploads, projects, and generated images are private to your account and are not made public by Paint Pics. Relevant content may be securely processed by service providers to deliver the features you request. Anything you intentionally download or share is then under your control.
How do Paint Pics gift cards work?
After payment is confirmed, the gift card is emailed to the recipient with a private redemption link. The recipient signs in or creates an account, confirms the active Paint Pics account shown on the card, and redeems the Repaints into that account. The purchasing account cannot redeem its own gift card. If delivery fails, Paint Pics emails the purchaser so they can correct the recipient email and try again from My Account. An unredeemed recipient may receive one reminder after 7 days and a final reminder after 30 days. Gift cards do not expire or have maintenance fees.
What happens when I delete my account?
Your account, private Paint Pics content, and unused Repaints are permanently removed from the active service. Gift cards you purchased remain available to their recipients. Limited payment, security, backup, or legal records may remain where reasonably necessary.
Include the useful details.
Tell us what you were doing, what happened, and which device and browser you used. For a repaint issue, include the project name or ID, the surface you selected, and what you expected. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details, or gift-card codes. We will ask for an image if one is needed.
