Straightforward policies for using Paint Pics.

Paint Pics collects the information needed to run your account and provide the features you choose to use. This may include your name, email address, account settings, uploaded photos, projects, saved colors, palettes, repaint images, brochures, and Color Match results.

We may collect your IP address, browser or device information, and technical logs needed to keep Paint Pics secure and working.

Your uploads, projects, and generated images stay private to your account and are not made public by Paint Pics. When you use an AI feature, Paint Pics sends the photo, prompt, selected surfaces, colors, or other content needed for that request to Google or OpenAI so the feature can produce the result you requested. Do not upload content you do not have permission to use or do not want processed for that purpose. Anything you intentionally download or share is then under your control.

We use service providers for account storage, AI features, payments, email, hosting, and error monitoring. This includes Supabase, Google, OpenAI, and Stripe. Some information may be processed outside Canada, where local laws apply. Paint Pics does not receive or store your full payment-card number.

We use account and technical information to provide and secure the service, process purchases, respond to support requests, and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal information or use your private content for advertising.

Paint Pics uses private storage, access controls, encrypted connections, and limited administrative access to protect your information. No online service can guarantee complete security.

Account content is kept while your account remains active. You can delete your account from My Account. This permanently removes your account, associated private content, and unused Repaints from the active service. Gift cards you purchased remain available to their recipients. Limited payment, security, error-monitoring, backup, or legal records may remain only as needed for transactions, security, accounting, or legal obligations and are removed or anonymized in the normal course.

By creating an account or using Paint Pics, you agree to these Terms of Use, the Repaint Terms, and the Gift Card Terms below.

You may use Paint Pics for lawful personal or business color-planning work. Keep your sign-in details secure and do not upload content you do not have permission to use.

Paint Pics is a color visualization tool. Repaints, Color Match results, and colors shown on screen are AI-generated or digital approximations for planning only and are not professional advice. Actual colors vary with lighting, surface, material, sheen, and application. Before buying paint or stain, confirm your choice with a physical sample or swatch, or with your paint retailer.

Paint Pics is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the service with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Any purchase must be made with the payment method owner's permission.

You retain ownership of content you upload. You give Rockbank Digital a limited permission to host, copy, transmit to service providers, process, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, and support the Paint Pics features you request.

Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, or use it to violate another person's rights. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect Paint Pics, its users, or service providers. Contact Support if you believe your access was restricted by mistake.

Paint Pics may change its features or policies or experience interruptions. We will update the effective date and provide notice of significant policy changes when practical. To the extent permitted by law, Paint Pics does not guarantee that every result will be error-free or suitable for a particular project.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada, without limiting consumer rights that cannot legally be waived where you live.

Repaints are sold on a pay-as-you-go basis and do not require a subscription. Prices shown as US$ use United States dollars. Stripe may offer a local-currency price. Applicable taxes, if any, are calculated and shown at checkout before payment. The currency and final amount shown at checkout are the amount you authorize.

Repaint packages are non-refundable unless a refund is required by law or approved by Stripe/Link under its Managed Payments policies. Contact Support if payment was completed but the purchased Repaints were not delivered.

One Repaint is used when a repaint is generated and made available in your Paint Pics account. No Repaint is used if Paint Pics does not return a repaint. If Paint Pics rejects an attempt and automatically retries it, the retry does not use another Repaint. Paint Pics runs an automated quality check before delivery, but the check may not detect every issue and does not guarantee a perfect or exact result.

Generated repaints are visual planning aids and may vary in surface boundaries, edges, texture, shadows, lighting, objects, and apparent color. Contact Support if a repaint colors a clearly different surface from the one you selected so we can review what happened.

Purchased Repaints do not expire because of inactivity while your account is active. Deleting your account permanently removes unused Repaints after you confirm the deletion warning.

If Paint Pics closes the paid repaint service, we will explain how unused purchased Repaints will be handled, subject to applicable law.

Local taxes, if applicable, are calculated at checkout. The currency and final amount shown at checkout are the amount you authorize.

A Paint Pics gift card contains the number of Repaints shown on the card and can be redeemed once. The person redeeming it must sign in to a Paint Pics account, and the Repaints are added to that signed-in account. The purchasing account cannot redeem its own gift card. Once redeemed, the gift and its Repaints cannot be moved to another account.

Gift cards are delivered by email after payment. If delivery fails, Paint Pics emails the purchaser. The purchaser can then correct the recipient email address and try delivery again from My Account. A successfully delivered gift card cannot be redirected to another email address.

Paint Pics may send the recipient one reminder seven days after delivery and one final reminder thirty days after delivery if the gift is still unredeemed. Reminders stop after redemption or refund.

If a gift-card payment is refunded before the gift is redeemed, the gift card is cancelled and can no longer be redeemed. The recipient is told that the gift card was cancelled. Once a gift card has been redeemed, Paint Pics does not issue a voluntary refund because the gift has already been delivered to the recipient.

If Stripe or the payment provider reverses a gift-card payment after redemption, the recipient keeps the Repaints and the gift remains marked Redeemed. The purchaser's payment is separately marked Payment reversed. Two such post-redemption reversals disable future gift-card purchases for that purchaser, without disabling their Paint Pics account or ordinary Repaint purchases. Gift cards do not expire and have no maintenance fees. They cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law.
